Kashabba Tribe Ministries is more than just a mission organization based in Africa. It is also a connected Kingdom family of fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters that share common spiritual DNA and values that are rooted first and foremost in the revelation of the Father’s love as revealed in Christ Jesus. Over the many years KTM has existed, Peter and Rebekah have had the privilege of getting to know, as well as growing, friendships with like minded and like hearted believers from all over the world. Many of these amazing men and women of God have become family with us and partner with us in this mission assignment that God has ordained for us. Often times, we invite these godly leaders to join us on trips as co-trip leaders as they all carry the Presence of God as they minister in the varied anointings that God has graced them with. Each of these leaders are precious gifts to the body of Christ, and we wholeheartedly and without any reservation recommend their lives and ministries to the church at large, both in the United States and around the world. Without further ado, please meet our Tribal Council:

Doug Johnson was radically saved from drugs and alcohol in his early twenties; coming out of the hippie movement he became a passionate disciple of Jesus. After his conversion he was filled with a fiery Baptism in the Holy Spirit. In his early years Doug ministered as an evangelist in local jails and street ministries. He also served as a worship leader in the local church. At the Toronto Blessing, he experienced a glorious baptism of the Father’s love. However, as renewal hit his local church, it unfortunately caused division. This led to Doug leaving the ministry and entering into an extended dark night of the soul. In the spring of 1999, God revealed Himself in a bright cloud of Glory in his living room and called him back into ministry, resulting in the formation of Harvest Church. Harvest was one of first churches to join the network of ANGA (Apostolic Network of Global Awakening) under the leadership Randy Clark. Although “retired” from pastoral ministry, he is now “refired” and has established a new ministry under the ANGA network called “Revealing the Father.” His goal is to finish “well” by ministering the truth of who the Father really is to the Body of Christ and by serving spiritual sons and daughters. Doug has also co-authored a book titled, “Spiritual Fathers” and is finishing up his first solo authored book in 2026. Doug is a spiritual father to Peter and Rebekah and is affectionately known as “Papa Kashabba” within Kashabba Tribe Ministries. Doug has been married to his wife Betsy for 53 years and has three children, four grandchildren, and one great grand child.

Jacob “Jake” Amberson‘s life and ministry are marked by a deep conviction that the gospel is not just something to believe—but something to experience. With a heart to see people truly encounter Jesus, he carries a message centered on identity in Christ, the reality of the Kingdom, and the access every believer has to walk in freedom, healing, and purpose. What began through everyday obedience—sharing testimonies, praying for the sick, and stepping out in faith—has grown into a ministry focused on awakening others to what is already available to them through Christ. Through preaching, writing, and real-life discipleship, Jacob equips believers to move beyond limitation-driven thinking and into a lifestyle of bold faith and spiritual authority. His teaching flows from both Scripture and lived experience, helping people break out of religious mindsets and step into the fullness of life with God. Whether speaking to individuals, churches, or communities around the world, his mission is simple: to see people know Jesus deeply and live out the reality of His Kingdom here and now. Jake is host of “The Testimony of Jesus Podcast” and with his wife Katie is a co-founder of 17 Three ministries. They have three children and make their home in Alaska. Jake has been a welcome friend of Kashabba Tribe Ministries since 2017. For more information or booking inquiries, please contact him at: jakeamberson@gmail.com
